Just too sweet...

I had to make note of a situation that happened in our house last weekend (mostly so I don't forget the sweetness amongst the occasional meltdown in our local vet's office). Last Saturday Mazzelyn decided she would NOT like to take a nap. She only takes one a day and we REALLY look forward to it. After close to an hour of "going back in" when she wouldn't settle down for her nap...we decided to let her "cry it out" we haven't done this very often her short 1 year of life...well about 15 minutes in to this Carver said he had to go to the bathroom (it's on the other side of the house and you must past by the stairs to get there) Mazzy's bedroom is at the top of the stairs. After a few minutes we realized he hadn't come right back from the bathroom and we went to look for him...assuming he MUST be getting into something...We found him in Mazzy's bedroom, reaching thru the slats of her crib "rubbing her hair to help her go to sleep". Now how could I even begin to get mad at him for that one...
